2008-05-12四川省汶川县境内发生8.0级地震,紧接而来的降雨天气严重影响了地震灾害遥感监测的实施。合成孔径雷达以其穿透云雾的能力,备受人们关注,成为抗震救灾遥感信息保障的重要数据源。利用COS-MO、TerraSAR、RADARSAT等高分辨率SAR数据对5·12汶川地震灾害的监测表明,合成孔径雷达在重大自然灾害遥感监测中起着非常重要的作用,特别是在多云多雨环境下合成孔径雷达起到的作用更加明显。
2008-05-12 An earthquake measuring 8.0 on the Richter scale hit Wenchuan County, Sichuan Province. The subsequent rainy weather seriously affected the implementation of remote sensing monitoring of earthquake disaster. Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) has attracted much attention due to its ability to penetrate clouds. It has become an important data source for remote sensing information protection in earthquake relief. The monitoring of 5.12 Wenchuan earthquake disaster using high-resolution SAR data such as COS-MO, TerraSAR and RADARSAT shows that synthetic aperture radar plays a very important role in remote sensing monitoring of major natural disasters, especially in the cloudy and rainy environment Aperture radars play a more significant role.
