我国消费者协会自产生以来,在保护消费者合法权益,促进社会主义市场经济健康发展方面发挥了巨大的作用。对于消费者协会的性质,虽然《消费者权益保护法》规定是社会团体,但实践中却存在着偏差,特别是近年来,许多地方将消费者协会改名为消费者委员会,更容易引起人们的误会。本文通过对我国消费者协会目前法律性质的分析,提出了变革的几点建议和看法。
Since the birth of China Consumer Association, it has played a huge role in protecting the legitimate rights and interests of consumers and promoting the healthy development of the socialist market economy. For the nature of the consumer associations, although the Consumer Protection Act provides for social groups, there are deviations in practice. In particular, in recent years, in many places, the name of the consumer associations has been renamed the Consumer Council, which is more likely to cause people’s misunderstanding. Based on the analysis of the legal nature of the current consumer associations in China, this paper puts forward some suggestions and views on the changes.
