This paper summarizes the smelting practice of increasing the ratio of lump and ore in No.9 blast furnace of Changsteel. By adopting the adjustment of the upper and lower parts, improving the performance of the slag and stabilizing the quality of the raw fuel, the utilization ratio of lump ore reaches up to 18% Economic benefits.
