模型思想是《数学课程标准》新增的四个核心概念之一,并在课程设计思路中强调“要重视学生已有的经验,使学生体验从实际背景中抽象出数学问题、构建数学模型、寻求结果、解决问题的过程”。模型思想的建立是学生体会和理解数学与外部世界联系的基本途径,所以模型思想的渗透应该贯穿于数学教学的始终。
