Significant advances have been made in the sub-project “Precision Prediction and Monitoring of Formation Pressure”, a major project of “863” project, “High Temperature and High Pressure Drilling Technology in Yinggehai Basin.” Formation pressure prediction technology has been applied to 21-1- 4 high temperature overpressure wells have been successful.Ying - Qiong Basin is rich in natural gas resources, but the geological conditions in the area is very complex, high temperature and pressure strata seriously restrict the exploration process of natural gas.In 1997, HTHP drilling technology was identified as “ 863 ”major issue, CNOOC South China Sea West Company undertook the key task of“ precise prediction of formation pressure. ”In the past few years, project personnel analyzed a large amount of geological data to deeply study the geologic factors that affect the formation of high pressure
