为了适应我国建筑业发展的需要,上海市建筑科学研究院研究成功了木材透明防火涂料,并于1994年12月通过专家鉴定。木材透明防火涂料具有优良的装饰性和保护性。该涂层能清晰体现木质基材的纹理,而且涂层本身具有不燃性,即能防止被火焰点燃,在高温情况下,涂层膨胀起泡,形成一个比原涂层厚度大几十倍的不易燃海绵状碳质层,可以隔断外界火源对基材的加热,在火灾发生初期起延滞作用,降低了火焰蔓延速度,有助于消防灭火,减少生命财产的损失。
In order to meet the needs of the development of China’s construction industry, the Shanghai Academy of Building Research successfully succeeded in researching wood transparent fire-retardant coatings and passed expert appraisal in December 1994. Wood transparent fire retardant coating has excellent decorative and protective properties. The coating can clearly reflect the texture of the wood substrate, and the coating itself is non-flammable, that is, it can prevent the flame from being ignited. Under the condition of high temperature, the coating swells and foams to form a tens of times larger than the thickness of the original coating. The non-flammable sponge-like carbonaceous layer can block the heating of the substrate by the external fire source, delay the fire in the early stage of the fire, reduce the flame propagation speed, help the fire extinguishing, and reduce the loss of life and property.
