记者张秋华报道在“IBMDB2总动员计划”中,IBM 已与红帽、拓林思等 Linux 厂商有了广泛的合作,如今这一计划又吸纳了一名重要的中国成员。9月中旬,IBM 与红旗软件签署战略合作协议,将共同推广集成 Linux 应用的 IBMDB2信息数据管理解决方案。IBM 信息管理部总经理尹丹岭表示,鉴于红旗软件在政府部门、社会公共事业的特殊优势,红旗软件将是 IBM 在中国市场的重要合作伙伴。“IBM DB2总动员计划”于2003年6月启动,其宗旨是提侣开放标准,快速推进 DB2 for Linux 在全球范围的开发和应用。在中国市场,这一计划包括在11月6日之前向客户提供优惠价的 DB2 for Linux产品,向签约的 ISV 提供专项鼓励基金,以及在2004年6月之前给予成功案例以奖励。现在,IBM 与红旗软件已经捆绑提出了针对国内中小型企业的 DB2 Express/Linux 解决方案。
Reporter Zhang Qiuhua Report In the “IBMDB2 total mobilization plan”, IBM has Red Hat, Turin and other Linux vendors have extensive cooperation, and now this plan has absorbed an important member of China. In mid-September, IBM and Red Flag Software signed a strategic cooperation agreement to jointly promote IBMDB2 information and data management solutions that integrate Linux applications. Yin Danling, general manager of IBM’s Information Management Department, said Red Flag Software will be an important partner of IBM in the Chinese market in view of the special advantages of Hongqi Software in government departments and public utilities. Launched in June 2003, the IBM DB2 Launch Plan aims to provide open standards for rapid DB2 for Linux development and deployment around the world. In the Chinese market, this program includes DB2 for Linux products that offer preferential prices to customers by November 6, special incentive funds for contracted ISVs, and rewards for success stories by June 2004. Now IBM and Red Flag Software have bundled DB2 Express / Linux solutions for small and medium businesses in the country.
