安徽省淮北地区約有盐碱地二百六十万亩,低洼积涝地的面积也很大,这两种土壤不仅产量极低,而且不能保收,严重地影响了农业生产和群众生活。为了利用改良上述低产土壤,田菁是极有发展前途的重要先鋒缘肥和麻用纤维作物。但目前我省还是一个发展田菁的新区,留种技术尚未系統掌握,种子产量不高,不能满足进一步扩大田菁种植面积的需要。为此,1964年我們于碭山盐碱土利用改良基点(試驗地設在碭山县农科所內),进行了田菁留种技术的試驗研究。現将初步結果介紹如下,仅供参考。
There are about 2.6 million mu of saline-alkali land in Huaibei area of Anhui Province and a large area of low-lying floodplain. These two kinds of soils not only produce very low yield but also can not be collected, which seriously affects agricultural production and people’s livelihood. In order to improve the use of low-yielding soils, Sesbania is a very promising pioneer margin fertilizer and hemp fiber crops. However, at present, our province is still a new area for the development of Sesbania. The techniques of remaining seeds have not yet been systematically mastered. The output of seeds is not high enough to meet the need of further expanding Sesbana cultivation. For this reason, in 1964, we used the improved base point of Yanshan saline-alkali soil (the experimental site was set up in Dangshan Agricultural Science Institute) to carry out the experimental study on the technique of Tianjing seed. The preliminary results are introduced below, for reference only.
