目前,我国加工模子、锅炉钢管焊接前的铣坡口、水泵转子叶片修光、翻砂件去毛刺、倒角等,多在气砂轮上装指形、盘形或柱形砂轮来进行加工。但是它存在着如下缺点: (1)气砂轮容易磨损,寿命短。 (2)气砂轮切削效率低,生产率不高。 (3)对加工小于R3毫米的凹槽,气砂轮无能为力。因此,有人提出能否设计一种硬质合金刀具来代替目前的砂轮?设计这种刀具当然是可能的,但必须达到下列几点要求:
