自1984年以来,山西区调队抓住本省各地、县制定“七五”规划、国民经济发展计划的时机,通过主动宣传和联系,开发利用全省1/20万区调原始资料、成果,补充新的内容,并依据地方的要求(合同书),补做一定的矿产调查工作,先后为吕梁地区和15个县、4个乡,编制了1/20万(地区用)、1/5万(县用)、1/2.5万(乡用)的地质矿产资源分布图和相应的地质矿产资源报告.对地、县、乡所辖范围内的矿产种类、用途、分布、规模及远景等进行了阐述,并对矿产开发利用和有关工矿业提出发展建议和规划.通过这项活动,取得了良好的社会经济效益.
