第五届泛太平洋无损检测会议于1987年4月7～10日在加拿大西海岸城市温哥华召开。中国无损检测学会派出了以姚锦钟为团长的5人代表团出席了这次会议,同行出席会议的还有中国科学院、化工部、石化总公司、冶金部等单位的代表6人。本届会议共有代表380余名,来自加拿大、中国、美国、日本、南朝鲜、澳大利亚、新西兰、巴西、西德等九个国家和中国的香港、台湾两个地区;并有38家公司、企业展出了各种新型的无损检测仪器、设备和器材。经专家审定,会议录用论文56篇,其中46篇安排在两个会场上分别宣读,10篇为交流论文。中国是录
The Fifth Pan-Pacific Conference on Nondestructive Testing was held on April 7-10, 1987 in Vancouver, on the west coast of Canada. The non-destructive testing society of China sent a delegation of 5 people headed by Yao Jinzhong to attend the meeting. The attendants also attended the meeting were 6 representatives from Chinese Academy of Sciences, Ministry of Chemical Industry, China Petrochemical Corporation and Ministry of Metallurgy.
