介绍了专门用途英语(ESP)的定义和基本原则,指出理工类院校ESP课程设置需要分阶段、多层次、多学科进行,增加专业词汇课程,教材建设上使用真实语料,强调专业词汇教材编写,采用“教师为主导,学生为主体”的双主模式,提高学生自主学习的积极性,明确ESP教师的角色定位,促进理工类院校研究生ESP教学的科学发展。
The definition and basic principle of ESP are introduced. It is pointed out that the setting of ESP curriculum in science and engineering colleges needs to be carried out in stages, at multiple levels and in multiple disciplines. The professional vocabulary course should be added. The actual corpus should be used in teaching materials construction. Adopting the dual master mode of “teacher is the dominant and student ’s main body ”, improve the enthusiasm of autonomous learning, clarify the role of ESP teachers and promote the scientific development of ESP teaching in science and engineering colleges.
