同“投篮之星”一样,技巧挑战赛也是一项时间不长的全明星周末项目,而这项比赛所针对的便是组织后卫的基本功。虽然整个比赛的全部流程看起来非常简单,甚至毫无技术含量,但往往是这样简单的东西才是最考验球员基础的。和其他几项一样,本赛季的技巧赛也作出了一些改变,不仅仅是分为东西部对抗,而且比赛的方式也有很大的不同。往年的技巧赛都是一名选手完成所有“障碍”之后再按照完成时间的长短来判定胜负,而今年则是采取接力的方式,即两人一组,在一人完成后将球迅速传给下一名接力队友,最后将两个人完成的时间相加算作最后的总成绩,除此之外还取消了击地传球这个障碍点。
