低功率CML(电流型逻辑)是一种高速低功耗数字元件系列,它具有较高的相对噪声容限、良好的与外线路匹配的阻抗、以及对地低的信号电平等特性。因此,可以用单线传输高速信号。因为集成电路用一个恒流源,所以功耗是恒定的。根据上述种种特性,用这种集成电路装配系统,每个集成电路的装配价格低。这对于大的数字系统来说,具有特别重要的意义。
Low-Power CML (current-mode logic) is a family of high-speed, low-power digital components with high relative noise margin, good impedance matched to external circuitry, and low signal level to ground. Therefore, high-speed signals can be transmitted with a single wire. Because the integrated circuit uses a constant current source, the power consumption is constant. According to the above characteristics, with such an integrated circuit assembly system, the assembly cost per integrated circuit is low. This is of particular importance for large digital systems.
