同志们:1958年是我国工农业全面大跃进,取得伟大胜利的一年,随着全国各个战线上的大跃进,我们建筑工程部各个方面的工作,也都有很大的跃进,获得了很大的成绩。其中建筑材料工业方面跃进的情况,也是很显著的。我们这次大会,就是要把我们去年的工作,进行一次全面的总结,以便更好地安排今年的工作,迎接今年更大更好更全面的跃进。我现在仅就建筑材料工业方面,提出一些情况和几点意见供同志们总结工作时参考。
Comrades: The year of 1958 was a year of great progress in our country’s industrial and agricultural economy. With the great leap forward on all fronts across the country, our work in all aspects of the Ministry of Construction and Engineering has also undergone great leap forwards. Great results. The leap forward in the construction materials industry is also very significant.
