10月20日金华建筑艺术公园开园仪式在风光秀丽的义乌江边正式举行。作为世界首创、中国第一的首座以小型建筑作品组成的金华建筑艺术公园位于金东新区商业文化中心对岸,地处金东新区三江六岸绿化带,西南与金东区政府大楼相呼应,是一个具有滨江特色的开放型公园,也是金东区实施义乌江北岸滨江绿化带建设的重点工程之一。该公园西起东关桥,东至康济桥,长2200米,平均宽80米。公园景观由艾青之子、著名艺术家艾未未主持设计,公园中17个小型公共建筑由来自美国、瑞士、德国、墨西哥、荷兰、日本及中国7国优秀建筑设计师、艺术家设计,于2004年施工。该公园已成为金华重要的旅游景观和文化景观,并引起了各界对城市小型公共建筑艺术的广泛关注,中央电视台曾专门制作了专题片详细介绍该公园。而造型的奇特、夸张,也吸引了国内外诸多新闻机构的争相报道。
