叠的海洋碳同位素(delta~(13 ) C ) 200 ka 的记录根据板补品有孔虫目动物(Globigerinoides ruber ) 被建立从在华南海(SCS ) 的 8 个地点的 delta~(13 ) C 数据。从 SCS 的 delta~(13 ) C 记录显示类似于那的一个趋势从和平并且主要对长怪癖和领前周期作出回应的大西洋，与所有三 delta~(13 ) C 最小发生在冰川的结束。因此，在冰川的周期的海洋的碳水库的变化不应该被看作仅仅对 ice-sheetvariations 的回答，
