本文所论述的频谱密集、包络恒定的数字调制系统是根据理论与实验的结果而得到的这种调制系统适宜于数字移通信-移动通信一般易遭到深衰落和快衰落的影响该调制系统具有实用和结构稳定的特性在调制器中调制信号参数从存储器(记忆装置)读得通过该存储器能够获得精确的频谱和波形该调制器是一个正交相位调制器它通过对存储在存储器中的调制信号设计恰当参数而实现且它的参数是稳定的所得实验结果与设计完全一致。
