The general hornblende with a wide range of isomorphic bodies is very sensitive to the thermodynamic conditions formed. They are widely distributed in magmatic and metamorphic rocks of different compositions and are stable over a wide range of temperatures and pressures. Therefore, attempts to distinguish the thermodynamic conditions of rock formation from this mineral are tempting.
