Roots and Shoots is a global project on the protection of the environment and humanity designed specifically for young people by Dr. Jane Goodall, a United Nations peace messenger and primatologist. Water Map is one of the root and shoot environmental education programs designed to enhance young people’s understanding of the ecological environment of wetlands and to understand and explore the relationship between wetlands and human life. During the summer vacation in 2016, Wanhong Primary School, Zhangjiagang City, Jiangsu Province, Aerospace Primary School, Chengbei Primary School, Zhongxing Primary School, Hexing Primary School and Minhang Central Primary School (6 primary schools established “Wanhong Elementary School Alliance” Bud water map project activities.
