本文是关于“光纤到户”(FTTP)的系列论文之一,着重介绍FTTP的基本概念、世界趋势、关键技术和发展前景。FTTP的主要网络技术是以太无源光网(EPON)和千兆无源光网(GPON)。作为对现有宽带接入网技术——FTTC+ADSL、HFC+Cable Modem、FTTB+LAN的替代物,它们的诞生、发展和成熟正在掀起一代新的宽带接入网革命,并明确地以电视、数据、电话三网融合为目标。在这样的形势下,文章试就如何通过光纤到户把现在的HFC网变成光纤接入网,并实现三网融合的问题提出粗浅的意见。
This article is one of a series of papers on FTTH. It focuses on the basic concepts, world trends, key technologies and development prospects of FTTP. FTTP’s main network technologies are Ethernet Passive Optical Network (EPON) and Gigabit Passive Optical Network (GPON). As an alternative to existing broadband access network technologies - FTTC + ADSL, HFC + Cable Modem, FTTB + LAN, their birth, development and maturity are setting off a new generation of broadband access network revolution, and explicitly television , Data, telephone triple play as the goal. In such a situation, the article tries to put forward some superficial opinions on how to turn the current HFC network into an optical fiber access network through fiber to the home and realize the triple play.
