在“专稿”这个专栏。邀请国内外著名学者。就特定主题发表研究结果或专题评论,为我国的会计学术研究提供启示、指导、评论、或发展动向看法。在本专栏,若原稿为英文,本刊不作中文翻译。直接按原件刊出,以便读者直接阅读和理解作者的本意。本期接受邀请的华人学者。是香港科技大学工商管理学院会计学系的Kevin Chen(陈建文)教授。陈建文教授对国内会计界学者来说是很熟悉的。陈教授早年留学美国并任教于美国的大学,自1990年代中期转赴香港科技大学任教以来,以中国资本市场问题为论题撰写并发表学术论文。他多次莅临内地会计界的学术会议发表演讲。热心于推进中国会计学术研究。特别可贵的是,陈教授曾经多次在上海财经大学、清华大学、北京大学等内地院校为博士生讲授会计研究方法和财务会计研究专题课程(是课程,而不仅仅是讲座),并指导博士生完成学位论文。实证会计研究在我国会计学术研究和教育中被接受和推广,陈建文教授发挥了重要的作用。

Is Professor Kevin Chen of the Accounting Department of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Professor Chen Jianwen is very familiar with domestic accounting scholars. In the early years, Professor Chen studied in the United States and taught at the University of the United States. Since he went to teach at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in the mid-1990s, he has written and published academic papers on the topic of China’s capital market. He has been visiting academic conferences in the Mainland accounting profession for many speeches. Enthusiastic to promote Chinese accounting academic research. It is particularly valuable that Professor Chen has taught doctoral students in accounting research methods and financial accounting research courses (which are courses, not just talks) for many doctoral students at Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, Tsinghua University and Peking University. PhD students complete their dissertations. Empirical accounting research was accepted and promoted in our country’s accounting academic research and education. Professor Chen Jianwen played an important role.
