著名画家梁平波的49件中国人物画作品即将赴巴黎展出，为“巴黎浙江周”增光添彩，在中法人民友好史上架设一座新的桥梁。
　　看过梁平波画作的人，都会由衷赞许他娴熟的绘画技艺和对藏族人民生活风貌的深切体验。
　　梁平波科班出身，早年毕业于浙江美术学院(现中国美术学院)中国画系，受过名师熏陶和系统专业基础训练，有过硬的造型功夫与笔墨技巧。在担任《工农兵画报》社编辑、社主任期间，创作过众多连环画和报刊插图，为转型至水墨人物画奠定了扎实的基础。他的画，人物造型、性格刻画、环境渲染、画面剪裁，都达到了用墨精到、设计高华、形神兼备的境界。近几年，他致力于把西洋画人物注重透视、三维空间、光线明暗处理的绘画技巧与中国人物画讲究线条、韵味的特点结合起来，融会贯通，在运用色彩透视、处理色调对比、追求质感效果方面取得了新的突破，作品落笔准确，构图饱满，线条老辣，墨色华滋，给人以蓬勃向上的鼓舞和凝重间含洒脱、磅礴中现灵秀的美感。
　　梁平波曾两次进藏，深入生活，浓情写生，搜集了大量的第一手素材，因而他笔下的藏民形象生动传神，多彩多姿，有一种震撼读者心灵的力量。
　　梁平波历任浙江人民出版社副总编辑、浙江省出版总社社长，绍兴市委副书记，嘉兴市委书记，浙江省委常委、宣传部长，省委副书记。现任浙江省政协常务副主席、浙江省人民对外友好协会会长、浙江画院名誉院长。他从政20余年，始终怀着一颗对艺术挚爱和虔诚之心，去再现美、歌颂美、创造美，公务繁忙却笔不容弃，每日清晨四五点钟起床，坚持练字绘画两小时，不但自己技艺日进，而且为领导浙江的意识形态工作取得了更多的发言权。

　　A New Bridge for Sino-French Friendship
　　Liang Pingbo, a celebrated painter, will soon exhibit 49 of his traditional Chinese figure paintings in Paris. His masterpieces will add color to Zhejiang Week in Paris and serve as a new bridge for Sino-French friendship.
　　Those who have seen Liang's figure paintings will applaud his adept skialls and profound knowledge of Tibetan people's life style.
　　
　　A graduate of Zhejiang Academy of Fine Arts, Liang received professional training under the guidance of famed professors. At the beginning of his career as an artist, he worked as an editor for a pictorial and created a great deal of picture-story books and illustrations. In recent years, he has combined western skills with his traditional Chinese painting know-how. As a result, he has made breakthroughs.
　　Liang has been to Tibet twice. Thanks to his experiences there, he is able to portray Tibetan people vividly and truthfully.
　　An established painter, Liang has been working in the government for over 20 years. Though with a heavy workload in office, he gets up around 5 o'clock in every morning and practices his art for 2 hours before going to work.
