The process of translation is a very complex process involving a wide range of factors such as language, psychology, cognition and culture. Different analytical perspectives lead to different conclusions. With the development of cognitive science in recent years, more and more linguists introduce the disciplines of cognitive law, sociology, anthropology and psychology into the cross-study of translation. However, most of them focus on the study of translation results. The essence of the translation process and the ways to effectively reduce translation errors are rarely involved. Based on the theory of ideal cognition, the paper introduces the maximum effect theory in economics to study the translation process, analyzes the fuzzy nature of language and the factors that restrict the translation behavior, and constructs the cognitive translation model based on the effect decision model.
