目前在成人高校中,教师从事第二职业的现象比较普遍。对此,支持的、反对的、高兴的、忧虑的都有,看法是很不一致。笔者认为,对这样一个普遍存在,大家又很关心的热点问题,应该在理论上进行探讨,并做出公正的回答;在实践中不断地总结经验教训,以便使它能沿着正确的轨迹前进。 据某成人高校调查,在教师中从事第二职业的约占1/3左右。从所从事的职业来看,主要有四种情况,第一种是到校外兼课。有的到其他成人高校,成人中专兼课;有的到和个人办的各种补习班,各种学校兼课。从事兼课的教师大多是知名度较多,教学经验丰富的中老年教师,也有一些新毕业不久的青年教师;第二种是自己办班。有的办高考补习班,有的办钢琴、电子琴、美术、书法、舞蹈等特长班,也有的办语文、数学、外语等单科补习班。能自己办班的教师也都有些特长,知名度较高,同时活动能力较强的教师;第三种情况是搞技术咨询。有的到工厂,有的去研究设计部门搞咨询,当顾问,这主要是有实 Currently in adult colleges and universities, teachers in the second occupation is more common.
