我厂在300吨液压机上压制陶瓷砂轮时,使用了电磁压头,可省去加盖板及去盖板的繁重手工操作。既减轻了操作工人的劳动强度,又提高了产量15%以上,并且可以避免因手工加去盖板而产生的废品。当压制高厚度砂轮时,需多次加压,就更突出了它的优越性。电磁压头的结构见示意图。我厂用于压制直径350、400、450毫米,各种孔径和一定厚度的陶瓷砂轮已数年,效果较好。当变更砂轮规格时,切断线圈电源,更换盖板很方便。目前厚度小于13毫米及粒度细于150~#的砂轮尚因有废品产生而未采用。
