“仙客来”(Cyclamen Persicum Mill)俗称兔子花,原产地中海沿岸、南欧、北非及小亚细亚。十八世纪引入欧洲后,逐步培育成了许多新品种。“仙客来”叶茂花繁、花梗挺拔、花形秀丽、色彩丰富、香气浓郁、花期长达4～5月之久,是世界著名盆花之一。“仙客来”传入我国约在十九世纪四十年代。现在本市每年生产二万余盆、但由于不注意育种等原因,故花梗高矮不一、叶子大小不匀、有的花形已不像兔子,而且各盆各异,供应不出品质划一的成批商品。沪产兔子花在香港的售价为日本的五分之一。通过“仙客来”组织培养进行固定品种特性、加
