近年来有许多关于低温保存丝虫微丝蚴和第三期幼虫的报告,但未见有低温保存成虫的报告。为进行人体盘尾丝虫治疗等的研究,本实验用液氮低温保存牛盘尾丝虫(Onchocerca gutturosa)获得成功,并可长期保存和运输活成虫。牛盘尾丝虫雄虫取自自然感染牛体颈韧带的结缔组织中,先培养于RPMI 1640的培养液中,其中含有100U/ml青霉素、100μg/ml链霉素和0.25μg/ml两性霉素B,以及10%灭活小牛血清(IFCS)。低温保存的方法分为两组:
