阅读是高职院校英语教学的一门重要课程,教材所选文章内容广泛,大多涉及英语国家的社会、政治、经济、文化、文学、历史、宗教、体育、医药、环保、风土人情、科普知识等各个领域,用词灵活,篇辐较长,由于学生普遍觉得生词多,难度大。英语阅读教学涉及到学习者自身的特点等诸多方面的因素。本文拟对成年人学习英语的特点,以及根据此特点如何合理设计提问,以增加学生学习兴趣,改变课堂沉闷气氛,提高高职院校学生英语阅读教学效果等作一些分析和探索。
Reading is an important course in English teaching in higher vocational colleges. The texts of the selected texts are extensive in content, most of which cover social, political, economic, cultural, literary, historical, religious, sports, medical, environmental protection, Knowledge and other fields, flexible words, articles spoke longer, because students generally feel more words, more difficult. English reading teaching involves many aspects of the learner’s own characteristics and other factors. This article intends to analyze and explore the characteristics of adults learning English, and how to reasonably design questions according to the characteristics so as to increase students’ interest in learning, change the dull atmosphere of the classroom and improve the effect of English reading teaching in higher vocational colleges.
