To carry out the socialist modernization drive, we must carry out various reforms. The current economic management system has various drawbacks. It is imperative to severely restrict the development of the productive forces and accelerate the pace of reform. We should further emancipate the mind, clear the influence of the “left” and follow the direction of socialism. From the reality, we should aim at improving overall economic efficiency, reform the management system, expand the power of enterprises, increase the viability of enterprises and promote the rapid economic development.
