提高高校音乐公共课的教学水平是实现对高校学生进行文化素质教育,及德、智、体、美、劳全面发展不可缺少的一个环节。而时至今日高校音乐公共课教学举步艰难,成了“应试教育”带来的重灾学科,在“应试教育”的压力下,尤其在中学,“许多学校的音乐课大都是排在课表上,基本不上;教材是放在书包里,基本不用;教学大纲束之高阁,基本不顾”。由于升学、考试等的压力,由于竞赛、补习等活动又占去了绝大多数的业余时间,我们的学子们在将近几年的时间里远离了民族音乐、高雅音乐,甚至连选择欣赏优秀的通俗音
