《基础教育课程改革纲要》要求课程改革的目标之一是“引导学生学会学习,学会合作,学会生存,学会做人……关注学生‘全人'的发展”。从新课改的目标出发,政治教学已不再是传统意义上的简单的知识传授过程,而成为师生共同成长的生命历程,是“教师有目的、有组织地激发和引导学生经过自探、自悟、自得,从而自主、能动、创造性地实现自我身心连续不断的积极变化的过程”。由此可见,要让学生到达自主发展的彼岸,需要架设“民主教学”的金桥。
