在黄海之滨的青岛市区南端,有一道距海边数百米且与海岸线走向平行的山梁,名日浮山。从地理学意义上说,浮山其实不能称做山而只能算做岭——山东半岛丘岭地貌中的一凸而已。整个浮山首尾长度约十华里,前后深度只有三四华里,连绵起伏的九座峰峦呈东西走向一字排列开来,其中最高的主峰海拔也仅为三百八十米。山梁上岩石多有裸露,坡地里的林木也算不上茂密。故而在当地居民眼里,此山如同自家院落里盆
