Intensifying the application of mathematics is one of the important points that need to be paid attention to in the reform of mathematics teaching in middle schools. Now we have made some expositions and examples on the application of quadric function knowledge in social practice. Strengthening the connection between theory and practice in teaching can not only cultivate students’ interest in mathematics learning, but also increase the awareness of mathematics application. It can also activate the atmosphere of mathematics learning, improve students’ ability to serve the society, promote quality education, and reduce heavy learning.
