Etisalat recently announced that with the strong support from Ericsson, the company has achieved milestone results in major business transformation. In the first phase of the project, UAE Telecom and Ericsson completed the business process reengineering. At the moment, UAE Telecom’s new Business Support System (BSS) environment puts pressure on products to market faster, closer to their customers and improves operational efficiency. UAE Telecom now has moved its post-paid mobile users to the new BSCS iX convergence, end-to-end billing and customer care systems and integrates with other third-party software components. Next, the project will be for UAE Telecom’s corporate customers, as well as retail and corporate customers
