文章对高职院校开设《中国近代史》课程进行了探索,指出要根据高职院校学制短、重实践、对理论学习重视不够的特点,编写与之相适的教材。鉴于高职学生的实际情况,要提高教学魅力,提升课程吸引力,在提升学生课堂学习兴趣、课堂教学内容处理与课外教学实践上下功夫。在期末考核上,根据该课程旨在培养学生的历史思维习惯、使学生养成历史人文情怀并形成正确历史观的教学目的,可不拘泥于重在考核知识掌握情况的传统考试模式,可采取灵活多样的方式进行。
