USDA Announces Monthly Supply and Demand Update on Latest Agricultural Products, November 8, 2013. Wheat: Wheat supply in the United States for 2013/14 is up 26 million bushel this month due to higher production and imports. According to the September 30 production report released, the United States increased 14 million bushels of wheat output. Wheat imports increased 10 million bushels this month on the back of stronger Canadian supplies and strong demand for hard red spring wheat. However, a cut in hard-red-winter wheat consumption resulted in a $ 8 million reduction in food requirements for all wheat. Wheat demand and adjustment for the month were revised up 30 million bushels for the month, according to the June-August demand figures as of the September 1 inventory report. Year-end library
