小学英语新课程标准要求采取多种手段激发学生兴趣,强调学生共同参与,提倡学生参与的主体性。在小学英语课堂上大量融入适当的游戏可以提高学生学习语言的兴趣,促进对已学知识的运用,有利于提高学生的实践水平和创新能力,对促进学生的情感,形成正确的价值观起到积极作用,便于综合素质的全面发展。因此,在小学英语教学中注意游戏手段的适当运用,可有效提高效率,增强效果,实现有效教学的目标。在这个意义上,游戏教学符合新课程标准下有效教学理念。
