编创是编辑的最高境界。郝文勉30卷巨著《甲骨文书法艺术》的编创路径主要有3条:一是临近学科的融合,将甲骨学、文字学与书法学融为一体,进行“甲骨文书法”为主旨的艺术概括;二是字形结构的聚类,在解构殷商甲骨文字形的基础上,把种类相同的部分集中在一起,进而建群彼此细分;三是书法体系的建构,由甲骨文通述、甲骨文构形、甲骨文章法、甲骨文书风4部建构体系,论从字出,循序渐进,卓然有成。
