我省引入苹果栽培,从1938年起,已有37年的历史。品种大约100个左右。来源于国内外各地。品种混乱,良莠不齐。经初步整理鉴定、大部分品种比较清楚明确,还有少数品种的来历和名称不明。以成熟期来分,早、晚熟品种甚少,以中熟品种最多。我省位于我国的西南部,介于四川盆地和广西台地之间,为切割高源的一部分。平均海拔在1000公尺左右,最高海拔3165公尺,地形复杂,气候差异大,垂直地带性较水
