On December 31st, the general manager of the scanner sales center of Tsinghua Unisplendour Group told reporters that the Uniscan scanner sold 50,000 units in 1998, an increase of about 180% over the 18,000 units in 1997. The growth of sales of purple scanners on the one hand attributed to the increase in application areas
