本文首先评述目前可以获得的红外搜索与跟踪敏感器的现状,然后介绍该技术经过25年发展之后现在所面临的问题。这些问题是由于目标特征的不确定性、大气效应、背景杂乱回波以及不同类型的硬件与处理缺陷所引起的。然而,由于有关目标/背景特征方面的知识的增加、光学与电子学敏感器复合的改进以及算法的发展,红外搜索与跟踪具有远大的前途。此外,由于适合各种平台及情况的应用数量的增加,红外搜索与跟踪有着良好的前景。这种前景将随着价格的降低和性能的提高而继续扩大。这里,重要的是要把红外搜索与跟踪看作平台系统的一部分并尽力把它同其它的系统部件紧密地结合起来。
This article starts with a review of the current state of the art of infrared search and track sensors available and then presents the current issues that the technology faces after 25 years of development. These problems are caused by the uncertainty of the target features, the atmospheric effects, the clutter of the background, and the different types of hardware and processing defects. However, infrared search and tracking have far-reaching promise due to increased knowledge about target / background features, improvements in optical and electronic sensor compositing, and algorithmic development. In addition, infrared search and tracking have good prospects due to the increased number of applications for a variety of platforms and situations. This prospect will continue to expand as prices and performance improve. Here, it is important to think of infrared search and tracking as part of the platform system and to try to integrate it closely with other system components.
