对于电站锅炉的设计者来说,煤的质量不仅取决于它的热值,还取决于其它成份,特别是它所包含的水份、硫份和灰份的数量与种类等。今后几年美国煤炭的消耗将增加,我们期望从伊利诺斯盆地(伊利诺斯、印地安那、肯塔基西部)开发大量的煤炭,那里有大量适于动力用的烟煤和良好的开采条件。本文先介绍大型电站锅炉直接燃煤的情况,然后陈述我们对各种烟气净化装置的选择方案。 (一) 我们的主要意图是使煤炭生产者了解社会对煤炭的使用要求并结合不同种类的煤炭的性质,成功地完成一个电站设计。
For boiler plant designers, the quality of coal depends not only on its calorific value, but also on other ingredients, especially the amount of moisture and sulfur and ash it contains, its type, and so on. In the next few years, coal consumption in the United States will increase. We expect to develop large quantities of coal from the Illinois basin (Illinois, Indiana, western Kentucky), where there is a large amount of bituminous coal suitable for power and good mining conditions. This article first introduces the case of large coal-fired power station boilers and then states our options for various flue gas purification plants. (A) Our main intent is to enable coal producers to understand the social requirements for coal use and to combine the nature of different types of coal to successfully complete a power plant design.
