近些年来,研究收购中国民间美术之风悄然吹动,来华的和国内的中外专家学者不是收集皮影、剪纸,就是到各地旧木版年画产区挖掘搜索,或是收购傩面具,少数民族刺绣、编织……。不再像开放初期收集名人字画及其它一些文物了,推想或许是名人字画赝品太多,令人生畏,不敢伫足鉴赏思考了。所以民间美术成为众人收集和研究的重点目标。在刚接待的一些国外和港澳的采访者中,一部分是对中国文化有研究和兴趣者,一部分是收藏家(或为外国博物馆专家来华考察者)。国外专家们大都着眼于中国近百年来的民间美术,尤其是“文化大革命”十年浩劫期间的革命群众绘制或刷印的一些美术品,其次则是抗日战争时期的一些美术品,其中包括日本侵华和伪满洲帝国时期的宣传品。如去年日本国立民族学博物馆监修出版的《民族学》第76期发表了中城正尧一篇《满洲门画(中国年画)》文章。开头介绍说:中国之旧正月、春节之前夜,各家的门户和室内加以美化,贴上了人们盼望美好生活的新年画。满
