China, once a “bicycle kingdom,” is rapidly entering a “car society.” Internationally, it is generally believed that an important symbol of a region entering “car society” is that the number of cars owned by a hundred residents reaches more than 20. At present, developed cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen have reached or are close to this standard. At the same time, car ownership in the second, third and fourth tier cities has been growing rapidly. It can be predicted that in the next five to 10 years , China will have more areas to enter the “car society”. There is a demand in society and an industry to develop. Meanwhile, the rapid development of new business models such as e-commerce and car networking, as well as emerging technologies such as new energy vehicles, has brought a force to change in the automobile industry. What will happen to the supply chain logistics system supporting the development of the auto industry?
