利用GISST和NECP/NCAR再分析数据,研究了印度洋海温偶极子型振荡(IndianOceanDipole,IOD)和太平洋之间在对流层上的遥相关模态并对其进行了机制解释.通过对IOD变化指数时间序列和整个南半球对流层重力位势异常场之间的相关分析,首先给出了遥相关的空间模态,结果显示:在热带太平洋上空的对流层存在明显和IOD变化密切联系的遥相关作用中心;该中心和热带印度洋之间由一列明显的大气遥相关波列结构连接起来,该波列结构从热带印度洋出发,向东南方向发展进入澳大利亚和太平洋的亚热带海域,最终到达热带太平洋.其次,利用行星波能量传播理论对两者之间的遥相关进行了机制解释,发现从热带印度洋出发的纬向波数为1~3的大气行星波的能量传播路径和遥相关波列路径定性相符.另外,对大气行星波在半球尺度上能量传播的时间尺度分析结果表明,它和太平洋对流层异常对IOD的响应时间尺度是一致的.因此我们得到这样的结论:大气行星波的能量传播是热带印度洋海温偶极子型振荡和热带太平洋之间对流层遥相关的一种可能的联系方式.
Based on the GISST and NECP / NCAR reanalysis data, the teleconnection modes of the Indian Ocean Dipole (IOD) and the Pacific Ocean in the troposphere are studied and mechanistically explained.The mechanism of IOD change index Time series and the tropospheric gravity anomalies over the entire southern hemisphere, the teleconnection spatial modes were first presented. The results show that there is a teleconnection center in the troposphere over the tropical Pacific that is closely related to the IOD. The center is connected to the tropical Indian Ocean by a conspicuous series of teleconnecting wave structures that begin in the tropical Indian Ocean and develop southeastward into the subtropical waters of Australia and the Pacific and eventually to the tropical Pacific. The wave energy propagation theory explained the teleconnection between the two, and found that the energy propagation path and the teleconnection wave path of the planetary waves with zonal wave numbers of 1 ~ 3 proceeding from the tropical Indian Ocean are consistent qualitatively. The time-scale analysis of the energy propagation of the atmospheric planetary wave at the hemisphere scale shows that it is close to the Pacific troposphere We conclude that the energy propagation of atmospheric planetary waves is a possible link to the telecombic teleconnection between the tropical Indian Ocean thermonary dipole oscillation and the tropical Pacific Ocean.
