德国教育家第斯多惠曾指出:教学的艺术不在于传授本领,而在于激励、唤醒、鼓舞。所谓激励,是指教师在体育教学过程中对学生所产生的行为表现及心理活动的变化,施以一种激励性的反馈信息。通过激励,可以巧妙地使学生形成一种兴奋、好学的心理状态,从而激发他们学习的积极性、主动性和创造性,提高体育教学的效果。在田径教学中常用的激励方法有以下四种:
