The mesoporous heteroatom molecular sieve Fe MCM 4 was synthesized by using cetylpyridinium bromide (CPBr) as template and silica sol as silicon source. The structure of Fe MCM 4 mesoporous mesoporous molecular sieve was investigated by XRD, IR and cyclic voltammetry The structure of MCM 4 1 has been characterized and the results show that iron has entered the framework of the molecular sieve and is stable in the form of Fe 2+
