吴天石同志是新中国的教育家,尤其是语文教学方面的行家。他从三十年代初期开始,曾先后在山东省的聊城师范、济南乡村师范以及文登乡村师范担任国文教员。参加革命后,仍一直关心国文教学。全国解放初期,天石同志把他所写的有关国文教学的文章辑成《漫谈国文教学》出版。他根据自己语文教学体验,一方面告诉语文教师如何教,另一方面也告诉学生如何学。这对解放初期语文教学思想的转变有积极的影响。一九五四年,天石同志任江苏省教育厅副厅长、厅长后,在全面领导江苏省各项教育工作的同时,特别注意抓中学、师范、小
Comrade Wu Tianshi is an educator in New China, especially his expert in Chinese teaching. After taking part in the revolution, he remained concerned about Chinese teaching.
