Objective: To observe the changes of blood ammonia (Amm) in women’s freestyle wrestlers before and after training and competition, and to explore the feasibility of using blood ammonia to evaluate and monitor the training of the program. METHODS: Thirteen women’s freestyle wrestling athletes of Anhui province (training level one or athlete) and seven national women’s freestyle wrestling athletes (training grade international athletes) preparing for the 2004 Athens Olympic Games were systematically tracked and tested for athletes Training and competition before and after the blood ammonia and related indicators of change. Results: (1) There was no significant difference in the level of quiescent ammonia between female wrestlers at different levels (P> 0.05); (2) After the training, the BLa and BLA of the provincial athletes increased significantly (P <0.01) and Amm of the provincial athletes did not change obviously. However, the BLa and Amm of the provincial athletes increased significantly (P <0.01) after the competition. Compared with the training, the Bla nationality athletes showed an increasing trend after the competition, but there was no significant difference. However, the Amm value after the competition was significantly higher than that after training (P <0.05). The results showed that: (1) exercise level and control (descending) weight had no significant effect on the quiet blood ammonia of the women’s freestyle wrestlers; (2) When the load strength was assessed, the change of blood ammonia was greater at the ultimate strength, Assess the metabolic system of ATP-CP and the indicator of ultimate load strength.
